- It's more energy efficient than a conventional tumble drier. My washing machine has a 1600rpm spin speed, so cotton clothes take less time to dry than the time that's initially indicated. The controls are easy to use, although some buttons need a hard push to operate. It doesn't get as hot as a conventional tumble drier, so it shouldn't catch fire.
- Initially it was far too noisy, it sounded like The African Queen, although this has now mostly subsided. Even on the Cottons Extra Dry setting, it won't sufficiently dry things that have been line dried, for these I use the 30 or 45 minute timed settings. Both filters have a very thin plastic folding hinge, which after only a short while has started to break. I now only open them just enough to clean the filters.
