- The hob we purchased is faulty. Even though we are covered under guarantee Beko will not replace it, only repair it (the hob was installed in November, we only started using it in December due to us not living at the property until then, reported the hob faulty early January when two rings then wouldn't even warm up at this stage (prior to this I was giving it the benefit of the doubt), and have been told it's not eligible for replacement). Beko's engineer came & looked at the hob but couldn't repair it, it has taken beko another 2 weeks from then to tell us that the parts the engineer ordered are out of stock & I have another 2 week wait. I currently only have one ring out of four that works so cannot cook a meal (stir fry in one pan, rice in another for example). I have a 2yr old & 4yr old to feed every day. Beko will still not provide me with a new hob. I paid good money for this product & quite frankly would tell anyone & everyone not to buy it, mainly due to Beko not helping us in this situation. We've been 2months without a fully functioning hob & we're still no nearer to the matter being resolved. I find it disgusting that they are happy to take your money but will not replace the product if faulty. They should take a view in our case & realise we are people trying to feed ourselves & children, all we did wrong was put our money in the wrong brand obviously. Customer service is zero. As long as they manage to eat roast chicken together with potatoes & veg every night what do they care? We currently have to decide what part of the meal we have to miss that night, shall we have chicken & potatoes this eve or chicken & veg? As our hob will not cook more than one pan at a time. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY BEKO PRODUCT!
