How to connect your washing machine to the power

How to connect your washing machine to the power

It’s a good idea to test the power of your new Beko washing machine before you install it. Follow these simple steps to connect your washing machine to the mains power:

  1. Do not plug your washing machine into an extension socket, only ever plug your washing machine into a mains wall socket.
  2. Test that the power socket is working by plugging in something you know is working, a light for example.
  3. Once you have ensured the socket is operational you can plug your washing machine in.
  4. If your washing machine does not turn on when connected to the power there may be an electrical fault.

Please note, this video features a European model with a European 2-pin plug. All UK models will have a standard UK 3-pin plug but the same method for testing the power shown in this video still applies.
