Why is my tumble dryer not getting hot?

If your tumble dryer has stopped heating, there are a few checks you can carry out. In some cases, the issue may be related to the load rather than the appliance itself. Overloading the dryer restricts airflow, making it less efficient, increasing drying times, and potentially causing overheating, which can lead to component damage. Make sure there is enough space in the drum for air to circulate properly.

If the appliance is running but not performing as expected, you can also check whether the drum turns with some resistance by spinning it manually, this can help rule out issues with the drive belt that may be affecting overall operation.

If the issue persists, we recommend contacting Beko’s Customer Care team on 0333 207 9710 or booking a repair here. Our expert support team will be happy to assist and arrange technical support if needed. We do not recommend attempting repairs yourself.
