How to use the self-cleaning and calc cleaning feature on your Beko Espresso Coffee Machine

When the self-cleaning button flashes, the appliance needs to undergo self-cleaning. Your Beko coffee machine will remain in the best condition if this function is performed at least once a month (or more regularly depending on the hardness of water used). To use the self-cleaning feature, please follow the below instructions:

1. Remove the water tank and fill it to the maximum level.
2. Add one pack of cleaning agent into the water tank before placing the water tank back into the machine.
3. Place a large capacity container underneath the coffee spout.
4. Press and hold the power and strong espresso buttons for five seconds until you hear a beep.
5. Press the strong espresso button to confirm. Once confirmed, the cleaning process will begin.
6. The self-cleaning process may take up to 120 minutes. The light will continue to flash whilst the process takes place.
7. When the water tank is empty, refill the tank with clean water. Once this is refilled, the appliance will continue the self-cleaning process.
8. When the self-cleaning process is complete, the appliance will switch off automatically.
