Why isn't my dishwasher tablet being dissolved?

Your dishwasher tablet may be placed in the incorrect place. Always place the tablets in the detergent dispenser of the detergent holder of your dishwasher. Tablets are designed to be used under “normal” conditions. So when selecting short programme times and low temperature washes, they might not allow for the tablet to dissolve fully, which means some remnants of the tablet may be left behind. It might also be due to the size of your selected dishwasher tablet. Depending on the tablet properties and water hardness of the area you live in, the dissolving of the tablet in water may take longer than the average short programme, which is why your tablet might not be completely dissolved.
