How can we help you?

Is it okay for my washer-dryer to always run low temperature washes?

Washing your laundry at a low temperature is great for saving energy but can unfortunately cause long-term damage to the machine. The rubber parts of a washing machine can become damaged when washing constantly at low temperatures, as it can produce build up with body oils and dead skin cells. You can tell if this build-up has occured if you smell a stale smell in the machine or laundry, and if black mould has formed around the door seal. You can simply run a regular 90 degree maintenance wash whenever you wash towels or bedding to keep your machine fresh and free of such build up by.
